About STEPS GRIET 
		STEPS-2011  and STEPS-2012 were annual national seminars  conducted on the following themes to achieve eight millennium development goals by the year 2015.

 (10) Socio-Economic and Cultural Models of Leadership and Communication for Sustainable Resource Management.
		
		From the year 2013, Annual National Workshops are being organized.From 2015, the emphasis is on United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which includes Seventeen sustainable development goals with 169 targets ( http://sustainable development .un.org). 
		
STEPS Seminars/ Workshops are being jointly organized by the Department of Civil Engineering,Centre for Sustainable Technologies for Eco-Social Resilience to Globaĺ Climate Change (CST-ERG)  & Centre for Water Resources Engineering and Management(CREAM).
